About Me
I am a licensed marriage family therapist (LMFT) in both California and Oregon. I have a Masters of Arts (MA) in Counseling Psychology, from JFK University. I am EMDR Trained and Certified with a sub-specialty in Super Resourcing. In addition to the above, I offer Ketamine (KAP) psychedelic assisted therapy, partnering with Journey Clinical. I have been providing services to adults, children and families for many years. I specialize in grief and attachment work, trauma informed therapy utilizing EMDR, Super Resourcing, EMDR 2.0 techniques, Positive Psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, Infant Parent Psychotherapy, and Solution Focused techniques. I have had the opportunity to work with patients diverse in ethnicity, age, socioeconomic status, gender, and life circumstances. As a therapist I utilize a multitude of theories, but I often pull from the perspective of attachment theory and how early attachment impacts our future selves. When working with adults I think with you on how to integrate the disparate parts of ourselves that sometimes make it difficult to have a fulfilling life. When working with children and families I employ a collaborative approach with the family and wonder together with you how to best build a web of support. In session I am warm, compassionate, collaborative, and able to hold hope when you may find it difficult. Having navigated many of life's stages myself - including parenting, caring for elderly relatives, making career transitions, and working in the medical field- I understand that life can be complex and unpredictable. If you are interested in exploring the inner workings of your life, grief, trauma, family, parenting issues, career development, or your relationships then please contact me.
